Academic Planning A Stepping Stone to Your Child's Future
For children who need a more challenging and diverse setting or who need personalized attention in ways that are not available through public schools, the choice of an alternative secondary educational avenue is particularly important. Each choice offers a blend of academic, cultural and social settings that is distinctive. Proper academic planning is also beneficial to increasing post-secondary educational options for the future.
The consultant works closely with the student and parents to identify their unique educational needs and interests, i.e. academic, athletic and artistic. An educational plan is developed, and a list of schools that match the criteria is prepared. All of the necessary applications, evaluations, interviews and testing requirements are completed. The student is monitored throughout the placement. There is continual communication with the school, the student, and the family throughout the year.
